Installation

To set up your 4-Button Scene Remote Controller, start by opening the cover and inserting the included battery. Make sure to close the cover tightly. Put your Z-Wave hub into inclusion/pairing mode (see your hub’s manual if you’re not sure how to initiate inclusion mode). Press the Z-Button on the device 3 times quickly. Once the device is included, the LED indicator will blink blue for 5 seconds and then remain on for another 15 seconds.
If your hub supports secure inclusion, you’ll be able to add the 4-Button Scene Remote Controller as a secure device. After inserting the battery, put your hub into inclusion/pairing mode. Press and hold the Z-Button for 3 seconds. Once the device is included, the LED indicator will blink green for 5 seconds and then remain on for another 15 seconds.

Warranty

Manufacturer (HAB Home Intelligence LLC) offers a limited one-year warranty on the hardware components of its kit. If a defect in the hardware, or any component thereof, appears at any time during the first year after purchase, HAB Home Intelligence will repair or replace (at its option) the kit or the defective component at no cost to you beyond the cost of shipping the defective item to them.

The limited one-year warranty on hardware covers manufacturing defects and includes parts, labor, and the cost of shipping the repaired (or replacement) product from HAB Home Intelligence to you. The warranty does not cover installation of repaired or replacement items. If they send replacement parts, those might be new or reconditioned parts. If a replacement motor box is sent, it might be usse a new or reconditioned motor.
